Happy Hour Friday // Seamore's

I recently checked out Seamore's, the new seafood restaurant in Little Italy opened by one of the owners of The Meatball Shop. I'm a huge Meatball Shop fan and Seamore's did not disappoint. If you live in the area you have to go asap! The food was so fresh and the space was gorgeous. The dining area has a strong nautical vibe, with lots of natural light streaming in the airy, open room. Wood detailing and sea foam green coloring adds to the seaside feel. A large board covers a wall in the dining room with sketches of the various fish they serve, and the fish that's offered that day is marked.

I went with a friend after work and we arrived around 6:30, right before a huge rush came. It's such a popular spot and they don't take reservations, so if you go make sure it's on the early side to avoid a long wait. We split a couple appetizers (order the poke!) and I had the seared fish tacos which were ah-maz-ing. The cocktail menu was really fun too, and they offer fresh juices that you can add liquor to. It's such a pretty spot with super fresh food, perfect for an afterwork dinner with friends.
Poke and shishito peppers... have you ever had them? They're my fav!

After dinner we stopped at Amorino for gelato. I was delighted that their cones were not only amazing, but that the presentation was so pretty!

Where: Seamore's, 390 Broome St
When: Week night dinner and drinks with friends
What: Don't miss out on the poke and fish tacos. If you're in the mood, order one of the nautical themed cocktails
