Wanderlust Wednesday // Long Weekend in Miami

I went on a last minute trip to Miami with my mom over Labor Day weekend. It was such a nice break! I love Miami so much... the culture, food, beaches and weather are amazing. I've been to the city many times before and have toured the gorgeous Art Deco architecture, visited the various neighborhoods and dined in some great local restaurants. Since I've seen a lot of the area already, on this trip I really just wanted to hang out on the beach! It was such a relaxing trip and it came at the perfect time, right before work starts to get busy. I'm sharing some of my favorite snaps from the trip below, along with some recommendations of fun stuff we did (when we weren't being beach bums).

This dress is my favorite purchase from the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale. Seersucker is always great in my book, and the bow cut-outs at the top are so fun!
Street art in the Wynwood neighborhood. Wynwood is a really cool up-and-coming area filled with galleries and restaurants. Very different than South Beach, and a great stop on the trip!
View of our hotel, The Fontainebleau, from our balcony. The Fontainebleau is gorgeous and the staff is A+, we just weren't aware of what a party scene it has! The crowd definitely calmed down once the weekend was over, but something to keep in mind if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay this may not be the best.
We went to The Keys one day to snorkel at Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park
How adorable is this restaurant, Morada Bay, in Islamorada? We stopped there for dinner after snorkeling
Gorgeous sunset in The Keys, at Morada Bay

Take me  back!
